Alaska State Troopers say 27-year-old Isaac Friday has been indicted and arrested on a charge of first-degree murder for killing 19-year-old Jade Williams in 2017.

On Aug. 15, 2017, troopers got a report that Williams was found not breathing at her home in Kake. Emergency personnel took her to the Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium Clinic where she was pronounced dead.

An online dispatch posted Saturday stated “continued and extensive investigative efforts by Juneau-based Alaska State Troopers” had led to Friday being indicted on Thursday.

Troopers contacted law enforcement in Walla Walla County, Washington, where Friday currently lives.

He was arrested Saturday by Washington authorities and remanded to jail in Walla Walla County on $500,000 bond.
