Two people who robbed a Wells Fargo branch in Anchorage earlier this month stole $2,624 in cash, according to a criminal complaint.

Totoe Opeti Sakaria Jr. and Brandon David McDonald were arrested Dec. 6 — two days after the FBI said they barged into the Wells Fargo at 5740 Debarr Road ordering those in the bank to get on the ground and demanding money.

According to the complaint, two men entered the bank before ordering a security guard and bank manager to get on the ground. One then approached a teller to get the money, while the other stood at the entrance with a shotgun making sure everyone stayed on the ground.

After releasing photos of the robbers to the public, the complaint says the FBI got multiple calls from people who recognized Sakaria and McDonald.

The complaint states that, during questioning, McDonald said there was another person involved and he was only a driver. The FBI, however, has not implicated a third person in the robbery.
