APD: Missing mother, 2-year-old son found safe
Anchorage police say 16-year-old Joslyn Prince and her 2-year-old son Jace have been found safe, according to an updated alert sent after 1 p.m. Monday.
The Anchorage Police Department is looking for a mother and her 2-year-old son.
APD says 16-year-old Joslyn Prince and her son Jace were reported missing Sunday.
They were last seen just before 8 a.m. on Dec. 13 in the 5800 block of East Northern Lights Boulevard. According to a community alert, the mother and son left the area in a pickup truck driven by Joslyn.
The truck was found Monday morning abandoned at the Arctic Tern Inn parking lot.
Police describe Joslyn and Jace as Alaska Native. APD says Joslyn is 5 feet 3 inches tall, 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue sweater and jeans. Jace was last seen wearing a navy sweater, red and blue pants, and Spider-Man shoes.
Anyone with information on their whereabouts are asked to call 311.
