Palmer man pleads guilty to possessing child pornography
A Palmer man agreed to plead guilty to one consolidated count of possession of child pornography, a press release from the state attorney general's office said Wednesday.
Michael John Clark Jr., 29, originally faced 11 charges including online enticement of a minor, distributing indecent material to minors and distributing child pornography, online court records show.
The Frontiersman reported the charges stemmed from a tip where a Colorado mother said her 10-year-old daughter had gotten explicit images from an Instagram account later linked to Clark.
Online court records show the date of Clark's offenses ranged from 2016 to 2017.
Clark will need to register as a sex offender as part of the plea agreement. His sentencing is scheduled for March 4, 2020.
