It's official — at least 58 mushers and their dogs will be running the 2020 Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race.

On Monday, the roster included veteran mushers Aliy Zirkle, Mitch Seavey, Joar Leifseth Ulsom, Pete Kaiser, Jeff King, Brent Sass as well as both Kristy and Anna Berington. The list includes 46 veterans and 12 rookie mushers. Of the 58 teams, 44 call Alaska home. International racers hail from Canada, Norway, Denmark and Italy.

According to the Iditarod website, musher Rick Casillo has already withdrawn from next year's race. In July, Casillo and his family were bracing their home and kennel from the Montana Creek wildfire that was nearing their home.

If any other qualified mushers decide to sign up between now and Feb. 14, they will need to pay a $4,000 non-refundable fee in addition to the standard $4,000 entry fee.

The ceremonial start of the 2020 Iditarod is March 7.
