The Anchorage Police Department is looking for a person of interest and a stolen vehicle in connection to a kidnapping that occurred Sunday morning.

According to a community alert, APD received a report around 7 a.m. about a kidnapping in the Dimond Boulevard and C Street area that involved two women — one was the suspect, the other was the victim. 

According to Anchorage police, the victim was found and questioned by detectives. Police are still investigating the circumstances of the kidnapping and they say no information will be released at this time.

Police say they are searching for 25-year-old Nellie Serradell who they believe has information that may help with the case. APD describes Serradell as Alaska Native, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 125 pounds with long black hair, brown eyes and a tattoo under her right eye. 

Police say she was last seen wearing a black jacket, cheetah pants and red shoes.

APD says the stolen vehicle is a blue 2009 Saturn Vue with Alaska license plate number JRE860. 

Police are asking anyone with information, including surveillance video, to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 907-561-STOP.
