Changes are coming to the frequent flyer miles partnership between Alaska Airlines and American Airlines.

According to the companies’ websites, the current mileage redemption partnership ends Feb. 29, 2020.

Beginning March 1, passengers cannot earn Alaska Airlines miles on international American Airlines flights. Additionally, travelers will not be able to redeem Alaska miles on international or domestic American flights.

People will still earn Alaska Airlines miles on some domestic American Airlines flights with Alaska flight numbers.

Alaska Lounge members can still use American’s Admirals Club lounges when flying on either airline.
