Unofficial results for Seward’s regular city election are in.
In the race for mayor, Christy Terry defeated Dave Squires in a 315-119 vote Tuesday, according to a release the City of Seward sent Wednesday.

There are 86 absentee ballots still to be counted. The public is invited to attend the count on Thursday at 1 p.m. in council chambers, the release states.
