Anchorage police are looking for the person they say vandalized the Loussac Library Saturday afternoon.

A spokesperson for the library said the damage took place in the Alaska Wing. The broken pipe caused extensive damage to property, artwork and artifacts.

This is the second pipe to break at the library in nearly two years.

300 gallons of hot water poured from the ceiling when a pipe ruptured on December 12, 2017. It soaked through the floor and damaged books as well as important documents.

Anyone with information about the man is asked to call APD.
