Update: APD seeks silver Dodge Ram involved in hit-and-run leaving man with life-threatening injuries
The Anchorage Police Department released surveillance photos Sunday of the pickup truck involved in a hit-and-run early Saturday morning.
APD says investigators have determined the vehicle is a silver Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab with a yellow license plate and lumber in the truck bed.
Police are still seeking information on the pickup truck and are asking people to call dispatch at 311. Tips can be submitted anonymously by contacting Anchorage Crime Stoppers via phone at 561-STOP or online.
The Anchorage Police Department is looking for the driver of a silver Chevrolet pickup with a yellow license plate who it says did not stop after hitting a pedestrian near 12th Avenue and Ingra Street early Saturday morning.
Officers went to the area around 3 a.m., according to a community alert sent by the department.
Witnesses told officers the pickup hit a man who was in the road, then left the area, driving north.
The victim went to the hospital and has life-threatening injuries, the alert states.
Anyone who saw the crash and hasn’t yet spoken to police is asked to call APD at 311. Police would also like to speak with anyone who may have video of the area at the time.
There is no other information available about the pickup or driver, police say.
