APD says search over for missing vulnerable man, found safe
Anchorage police say a missing vulnerable man has been located and returned home safely.
In an online dispatch, police say 59-year-old James Seaking was last seen Wednesday at the Providence Wound Center on Aug. 14.
He was last seen wearing a black hat, black windbreaker, a red and black long-sleeved shirt with gray sweatpants, according to the release.
Seaking is described by police as a white man who is 6 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs approximately 185 pounds. He has brown eyes, long gray hair with a gray beard.
Police say Seaking has mental health concerns and they believe he does not have family or friends in the Anchorage area.
