M/V Kennicott. Alaska Marine Highway System
All Alaska Marine Highway System vessels are back on the water after a strike by the Inlandboatmen’s Union of the Pacific last month stopped sailings for about a week.
The Kennicott set sail from Ketckikan to Bellingham, Washington Thursday afternoon. It’s the final ship to embark on a voyage since sailings resumed Sunday.
Passengers booked on sailings that were cancelled due to the strike are getting refunds. To ask about a refund, call 1-800-642-0066.
