Update: Suspect arrested for Tudor and Elmore Road assault
APD says they have arrested the man suspected of assaulting another man on Tudor Road and Elmore Road Friday evening.
The suspect has been identified as 25-year-old Gregory Outwater. Police say he has been charged with felony assault.
The Anchorage Police Department is asking for information about an assault which occurred at the intersection of Tudor Road and Elmore Road Friday evening. Police say they responded to a call around 10:15 p.m. about a man hurt in the grassy area across the street from Brown Jug.
APD says the preliminary investigation found the man had physical injuries from an assault. Police say the incident and what led to the assault is under investigation.
The police say the victim was brought to a hospital and his condition was not known at the time. As of Sunday, Aug. 4 police say the man's injuries are life-threatening.
APD says robbery and assault detectives are handling the investigation and have questioned persons of interest. No arrests have been made at this time, police say.
Police ask anyone who might have information about the assault or anyone who was in the general area of Tudor Road and Elmore Road between 9 and 10 p.m. Friday to call Anchorage dispatch at 311.
