Police say no one was injured, but officers found a juvenile in the area. He was questioned, arrested and taken to McLaughlin Youth Center. Charges are being forwarded to the Department of Juvenile Justice.

The damage could cost $100,000 to repair, according to Bryan Stenehjem, the maintenance supervisor for the Anchorage School District.

Crews were at the school removing some of the damaged equipment Friday morning, but Stenehjem says the playground won't be totally replaced until next summer because most of the equipment has to be ordered from the Lower 48.
