The low responsible for the clouds and rain that started the week will soon weaken and move out, opening the door for a change as we round out the final days of spring.

The mostly cloudy skies that started the day will stick around straight through this evening. The Gulf storm associated with the clouds will also bring a few rounds of light drizzle to Anchorage on Tuesday. Temperatures will stay in the mid-60s during the day because of some of those clouds.

Overnight, the clouds will start to break up— but a lingering few will be enough to keep us close to 50 degrees Wednesday morning. Clearing skies will bring about ample sunshine through the second half of the day. This sunshine will allow temperatures to soar back into the upper 60s here in Anchorage. It's likely parts of town will even hit 70 with all of the sunshine.

Thursday will stay warm and sunny. Temps will stay near 70 degrees here in town, even warmer in the valley.

By Friday an incoming storm will bring the return of clouds to much of Southcentral. But it does look like Anchorage remains mostly dry as spring changes to summer. We should stay in the upper 60s right on through the weekend.

Enjoy these last few days of spring!
