Following several days of sunshine across Southcentral, cloudy skies are set to make a return to the region. A storm system, which has been meandering near the Aleutians will slowly pull to the north through the coming days, bringing rain showers and breezy conditions.

While it's not set to arrive until the weekend, that means another day of seeing the potential for some sunshine. Expect sunny skies for the first half of your Friday, before clouds increase as we head into your Friday afternoon. It will still be beautiful as you head outdoors, as temperatures will have no trouble climbing into the mid and upper 60s across Southcentral. One thing we'll want to watch out for though is more nights of potential records, as the increasing clouds will hold temperatures in the low to mid-50s. With this being likely, it's possible that we'll see a number of record warm mornings as we head into the weekend and first part of next week.

As far as the rain, it looks to hold off for a large portion of Southcentral as we head into Friday, with the best chance for rain arriving into the weekend. With the return to rain and cloudy conditions, you'll notice temperatures will be slightly cooler as we head into the weekend.

Through most of the upcoming week, clouds will stay in the forecast keep temperatures mild during the day and warmer at night.

Have a great Friday!
