The Chugiak-Eagle River library has finally reopened after repairing damage caused by the Nov. 30 earthquake.

The library was closed on May 10 after finding the damage during an inspection. According to a newsletter from the Anchorage Public Library, additional inspections and repairs have finished and they have been approved to re-enter the building.

"Staff will be working quickly to catch up and prepare to welcome our patrons back," the newsletter says. "The library will re-open on Tuesday, June 11th for normal service hours. We appreciate your patience and can't wait to see you!"

The newsletter says that the Chugiak-Eagle River Youth Summer Discovery programs are still scheduled for Thursdays at 12 p.m. The programs will return to the library this week.
