Last day of sunshine and warmth before clouds return
For today's forecast, we just went ahead and hit the repeat button because yesterday was so nice.
We will once again climb into the 70s on Tuesday under mostly sunny skies. A downright gorgeous start to the day. By the afternoon, it will once again feel hot. But this time, a push of moisture from the gulf will put a few more storms in the forecast. Most of those stay out of Anchorage, a possible rumble of thunder and a few sprinkles is about it. Very similar to Monday. The moisture really stays north, that means scattered storms in the valley and Big Lake later in the day.
Clouds will build late Tuesday in advance of our day of clouds on Wednesday. Don't think, full on clouds, just a nice mix of clouds and sun. A break from this heat, if you will. Temps will stay closer to the mid-60s Wednesday afternoon with a few isolated showers remaining in the forecast. Not as strong in nature and not near as much moisture. Those, once again, stay closer to the valley.
We will round out the workweek in a very similar fashion. So if it's sunshine and warmth you like, get out this afternoon and enjoy it while you can! Clouds and cooler temps are only a day away.
