Randy Wassillie, 19, of Quinhagak, is accused of sexually abusing a girl under the age of 13.

Alaska State Troopers got report of the abuse about 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, according to an online dispatch. Bethel troopers investigated and found the abuse took place on about June 3.

An arrest warrant was issued on June 10. “AST responded to Quinhagak and with the assistance of tribal police, took Randy Wassillie into custody at approximately [3 p.m.],” the dispatch reads.

Wassillie was taken to the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center in Bethel and faces charges of first- and second-degree sexual abuse of a minor and first- and second-degree sexual assault.
