Wash, rinse, repeat. That has been the pattern all week long and Friday will be no exception.

Partly cloudy and warm will be the first half of today's story. Temperatures will climb to 70 degrees again this afternoon as sunshine dominates the sky. Clouds will start building through the afternoon as daytime heating fuels diurnal storms. Clouds will give way to isolated storms this evening around Southcentral. Some will bring lightning, thunder, and even small hail.

Overnight, storms will die down. Temperatures will start out near 50 degrees Saturday morning under a mix of clouds and sun. Partly cloudy skies will last through the day. You will notice a few more clouds than we saw each day through the week, but we should see a similar amount of showers. Cooler temps, highs in the mid-60s, means less storm activity in the afternoon.

Sunday will dry out a bit more, but the clouds of Saturday stick around. Temperatures will stay in the mid-60s in the afternoon with a few stray bits of drizzle around southcentral, but staying dry in Anchorage.

Enjoy the weekend!
