Sun and warmth will once again spread across Southcentral Wednesday as temperatures climb back near balmy.

Partly cloudy skies will once again allow temperatures to climb to the mid-60s in the afternoon. Our persistent offshore flow, or winds out of the north, will keep both the sunshine and afternoon storms in the forecast. We will see those develop in similar areas to both Monday and Tuesday. Then come to an end across the region once the sun goes down.

We will see a few more clouds on Thursday, but it looks like we trade a small amount of sunshine for a little more heat. Temperatures will trend closer to the upper-60s than they did earlier in the week. The isolated showers and storms remain in the forecast as well. The east side of town might even find a sprinkle or two.

Friday will stay warm under partly cloudy skies, with our best shot at hitting 70 degrees this week.

The weekend is still looking dry and mild— fingers crossed it holds.
