A warm, dry week ahead
As Liz Raines said early Monday morning, "This forecast calls for shorts."
Now whether or not that's true, all depends on your definition of "shorts weather." Dry conditions with a mix of clouds and sun is an awfully good start. On top of that, temps will climb into the mid 60s this afternoon. Maybe not shorts and t-shirts, but shorts and a long sleeve with a spare jacket is plenty.
Late this afternoon clouds will build into the mountains as scattered showers develop thanks to all of our warmth.
That pattern holds, Tuesday will bring a mix of clouds and sun with temperatures climbing into the mid-60s in the afternoon. A few scattered showers will develop during the day, a little more widespread than Monday's storms.
By Wednesday, we will start really clearing out and see temperatures start the climb for the end of the week. As we round out the last couple days, temperatures will climb to the upper-60s and we could very well see the warmest temperatures of the year before the workweek comes to an end.
