Morning sun before clouds return
The good news is Wednesday will start with ample sunshine. In fact that sun will last through the first half of the day.
After a sunny start, clouds will build late Wednesday as our next storm lifts north through the Gulf. Temperatures will climb to 60 degrees Wednesday as clouds take over. By late-evening Anchorage will once again be under mostly cloudy skies. Most of the moisture from the storm sticks to coastal areas, but what stays in the clouds will keep us mild overnight.
Temps will stay in the mid to upper 40s early Thursday morning as clouds trap the heat like a blanket in the sky. The clouds don't last all day, a few peeks of sun will shine through as temps struggle to hit the upper 50s in the afternoon.
By Friday we will start to see a few more breaks in the clouds as more sunshine welcomes us into the weekend. Temperatures will climb back to near 60 degrees well before the sun sets at after 11 pm!
Another storm is moving in just in time for the weekend. At this point, it is looking like it might be strong enough to bring rain to much of Southcentral. We can always use the moisture, let's just hope we get at least one day of sun.
