Overcast skies kept temperatures from reaching 60 degrees today, but otherwise it was a pleasant afternoon. While the clouds are expected to stick around into the evening hours, it will still be nice for any outdoor activities. A few sprinkles can't be ruled out for Anchorage into Saturday evening, but for the most part the cloudy skies and dry conditions will be the main focus heading into the evening.

With overcast skies expected to stick around into the night, this means many locations will only fall into the low to mid 40s across Southcentral. Low level moisture continues to pull in from the Gulf of Alaska keeping the cloudy skies in place and warmer conditions around. This will be the main focus as we head into the rest of the weekend and most of next week. With that being said, our next system looks to impact us late Sunday night into Monday with rain in the forecast. While most of the activity will be along Coastal Alaska, a few spot showers are possible into Monday morning for Anchorage.

The upcoming week looks to be a replica of this week, with mostly cloudy skies and mild conditions each afternoon. While sunny skies look hard to come by through most of next week, we will see peeks of sunshine, with afternoon highs topping out in the lower 60s each afternoon.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
