The Anchorage Police Department is asking for the public's help to find an inmate who escaped the Cordova Center Tuesday evening.

A felony arrest warrant has been issued for 26-year-old Ned Weber, Jr. who was most recently convicted of resisting arrest and vehicle tampering, police say.

APD said in a statement that Weber climbed over the Cordova Center fence and never returned. He is 5 feet 3 inches, 160 pounds and was last seen at 11:30 p.m. wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black and white shoes.

Police ask anyone who may have information on Weber's whereabouts to contact police dispatch at 311. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers via phone at 561-STOP or online.
