After a our brief stretch of warmth, temperatures will trend closer to normal as clouds and showers return.

Thursday will be a far cry from the two previous days. Clouds in addition to the cooler temps will have it feeling much colder than it will be across Southcentral. Afternoon showers will keep temperatures in the low-50s during the day. Overnight the showers will taper off, drying out in time for Friday.

Friday will start much cooler. Temperatures will drop to about 40 degrees as the sun comes up. The day will bring a mix of clouds and sun to Anchorage. Following Thursday's front, temps will stay in the low-50s through the day.

There is a chance of showers overnight Friday into Saturday, but don't worry. Right now, it's looking like we will dry out in time for the weekend. A mix of clouds and sun with temps in the mid-50s both Saturday and Sunday.

Have a great Thursday!
