As Anchorage's school year nears its end, The Children's Lunchbox, a program of Bean's Cafe, is helping make sure children who rely on school lunches don't go hungry until the fall.

In a Wednesday news release, the nonprofit announced the sites for its Summer Food Program, where kids 18 and under can get free meals, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.

The dates and times vary, depending on whether kids are enrolled in the program, but meals services generally run from June through early August. Enrolled programs are closed to the public and caretakers must contact a specific agency providing the program to participate.
