Anchorage groups to host free summer meals for kids in need
As Anchorage's school year nears its end, The Children's Lunchbox, a program of Bean's Cafe, is helping make sure children who rely on school lunches don't go hungry until the fall.
In a Wednesday news release, the nonprofit announced the sites for its Summer Food Program, where kids 18 and under can get free meals, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.
