Family asks for public’s help finding missing Anchorage man
Family members are asking for the public’s help finding an Anchorage man who has been missing for over a month.
Kevin Brian Douglas Lane, 21, was reported missing by a family member on Feb. 19, Anchorage Police Department spokesperson MJ Thim said Tuesday. He was last seen on Jan. 3 after being dropped off at an apartment building in the 300 block of East 15th Avenue.
Lane’s sister, Tina Hensley, said Lane missed his birthday on Feb. 15, which is out of character. Lane is originally from Kotzebue and has been living in Anchorage for less than a year.
According to a press release from a private investigator hired to help find him, Lane is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing about 170 pounds. He has short brown hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.
Hensley said it is not like Lane to stop talking to his family. They miss him and want him home.
Those with information are asked to call Anchorage police at 907-786-8900 or private investigator Brenda Paradise at 907-795-5292.
