A Kasigluk man was arrested Saturday after troopers say he exchanged pornographic images with a minor on Facebook.

Alaska State Troopers with the Bethel Violent Offender's unit first received a report from a concerned parent on June 23, 2018. The parent said a minor was being enticed online to exchange nude photographs with an adult.

According to a trooper dispatch released Sunday, an investigation by Dillingham AST and the Technical Crimes unit in Anchorage found that Harry Twitchell, 52, "enticed a minor to exchange pornographic images with him over Facebook Messenger."

On Jan. 31, 2019, Twitchell was indicted by a Bethel grand jury for one count of online enticement of a minor, one count of distribution of indecent material to minors, one count of possession of child pornography and one count of indecent viewing or photography.

A warrant for Twitchell's arrest was issued on Feb. 2, 2019. He was arrested that same say around 2:47 p.m. in Kasigluk.

Twitchell was transported to Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center in Bethel. Troopers say he was remanded and held on a $2,000 bail.
