Kwethluk man arrested for sexually abusing minor
A Kwethluk man was arrested on Friday for sexually abusing a minor, according to a dispatch from Alaska State Troopers.
Troopers say the abuse was reported by a concerned citizen from the village of Kwethluk to a Village Police Officer on Dec. 13, 2018.
On Jan. 31, 2019, a grand jury indicted Timothy Fisher, 47, on four counts of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor, one count of third-degree sexual abuse of a minor, incest and indecent exposure.
According to the dispatch, a warrant was issued for Fisher's arrest in the amount of $100,000. Troopers arrested Fisher on Feb. 2, 2019 around 2:30 p.m. in the village of Napaskiak.
Fisher was transported to Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center. The case was investigated by the Bethel Violent Offenders unit.
