A man charged with sexually abusing a minor last year may have exploited other children according to Anchorage police, who are asking them to come forward.

An APD statement Wednesday outlined the case against 39-year-old Jeremy D. Strunk, who was arrested a day after a complaint against him on May 1, 2018. Authorities with the state's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force listed Strunk last year as one of seven Alaska suspects picked up among 2,300 people in Operation Broken Heart, a nationwide sweep of alleged child sex predators.

“Strunk’s victim was someone he knew,” police wrote. “Since his arrest, detectives have continued to work the case and now have concerns there may be other victims. In 2000 Strunk began giving guitar lessons in the Palmer and Wasilla area through numerous venues.”

Anyone who believes they were victimized by Strunk, or has more information on the 2018 case, is asked to call APD Detective John Kleinsmith at 907-786-8579 or Wasilla Police Investigator Dan Bennett at 907-352-5412.
