Anchorage police dispatch said there are multiple crashes on and near the Glenn Highway, leaving at least 10 cars in the ditch Tuesday afternoon. 

The crashes have caused traffic delays, but none have prompted road closures at this time.

There are two separate collisions on the inbound Glenn Highway near the Fort Richardson exit, according to dispatchers. There are 10 cars reported in the ditch, as well as a dump truck. Emergency medical personnel are also responding to a man experiencing chest pain.

A separate vehicle rollover crash is reported on the inbound Glenn Highway near the South Birchwood exit.

At the Muldoon overpass, dispatch said a Fed Ex truck has collided with a vehicle in the northbound lane heading toward Tikahtnu Commons.

A narrow band of moderate to heavy snow is falling along Seward Highway through the Turnagain Arm, in Anchorage and along the Glenn Highway between Anchorage and Wasilla. Be prepared for slick roads and poor visibility through the evening commute.
