Several law enforcement agencies seized stolen property including guns and an all-terrain vehicle while recovering a stolen snowmachine. Alaska State Troopers' Palmer Criminal Suppression Unit, AST Palmer Patrol and Alaska Wildlife Troopers all contributed, according to a release troopers sent Wednesday.

Troopers first responded to Bodenburg Loop in Palmer around 8 a.m. Monday. While recovering the stolen snowmachine, they discovered the stolen ATV, five stolen guns and 15 additional guns they suspect are stolen.

Jessica Krieger, 35, and Trevor Bernard, 28, both of Anchorage were arrested. Krieger faces five counts of theft. Bernard was arrested on two warrants for weapons misconduct. Troopers are still investigating the gun, ATV and snowmachine thefts.

“This case is an excellent example of the ongoing cooperation amongst law enforcement agencies to address property crime, particularly in the Mat-Su Valley,” AST acting director Major Andrew Greenstreet said. “I look forward to seeing these partnerships continue, and the results that cross-agency engagement brings for the people of Alaska.”
