ASD offering free food for kids this week during school closures
Following the magnitude 7.0 earthquake, Anchorage School District schools are closed until Monday, Dec. 10.
Anchorage School District Student Nutrition is offering free food to anyone 18 years of age and younger this week. The service will be available outside select schools.

• Fairview Elem
• Mountain View Elem
• North Star Elem
• Central Middle
• Muldoon Elem
• Alaska Native Cultural Charter
• Creekside Park Elem
The program will run from Tuesday, Dec. 4 - Friday, Dec. 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. According to district spokeswoman Catherine Esary, Friday times may shift slightly to accommodate deliveries ahead of schools reopening on Dec. 10.
Kids will be able to go inside school buses at each location to eat.
