The third-grade students in Ms. Brock and Ms. McSorley's classes have been working hard learning about clouds this year, so I gave them a little pop quiz and sure enough, they passed the test! They knew cirrus from cumulus and could easily point out stratus on a map.

With the KTVA Weather Lab in the classroom, the students got a crash course on how to forecast the weather and an opportunity to present the forecast in front of the green screen.

Every time I'm in the classroom, I'm reminded of how amazed I was as a young student to discover how our atmosphere and solar system work and I saw that same sense of wonder in these young scientists at Bear Valley.
