In an online dispatch, State Troopers say Kyle Jemewouk, 34, surrendered himself and the incident was resolved peacefully.

Earlier Tuesday, Troopers wrote Jemewouk had barricaded himself in his home for the second time this week, and was armed.

On Sunday, Troopers say Jemewouk escaped from the Elim Holding Facility where he was being arraigned on domestic violence charges, then barricaded himself in his house; he was armed with a sword and a knife.

Troopers then tried to arrest Jemewouk in town on Monday, but he got away using a truck, a 4-wheeler and a boat, according to the dispatch.

On Tuesday morning, Troopers say they are in contact with Jemewouk and working toward a peaceful resolution.
