Anchorage police are asking for the public's help to find a missing 41-year-old woman who was last seen in downtown Anchorage earlier this month, authorities say.

A missing person's report was issued on Tuesday after family members of Wilsa M. Ahgupuk said she hadn't been seen or heard from in approximately two weeks, police wrote in a statement.

She was last seen in the area of 4th Avenue and C Street.

"Her phone has since been shut off and she quit posting to her social media accounts on September 14th which her family says is very unusual," police wrote.

Wilsa is described as a 5-foot-3 tall female around 115 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call Police Dispatch at 3-1-1 (option #1).
