DeBarr Road reopens after driver hurt in crash
DeBarr Road has reopened near Boniface Parkway, police said, after a collision Sunday afternoon that left one driver injured.
An initial alert for a westbound closure of DeBarr, at Edward Street, was sent just before 2 p.m.
By 2:20 p.m., a tow truck was removing a red pickup truck which had lost one of its rear wheels from DeBarr. A nearby black sedan had extensive front-end damage.
Officers at the scene said the sedan’s driver was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
DeBarr’s eastbound lanes were also closed at Buckner Drive, but the road fully reopened to traffic just after 3:30 p.m.
