His name alone might draw some attention, Versace Armani Sperl-- names associated with luxury Italian fashion lines. But, Anchorage Police want to draw attention to Sperl because of what they say he recently did.

APD says on June 10, they responded to a disturbance call where 20-year-old Sperl threw rocks at his ex-girlfriend after a disagreement about them breaking up. Police say the woman tried to seek cover from the rocks but ended up being hit more than once.

Police say Sperl left the scene before officers showed up and they were not able to locate him. Police have since obtained a felony warrant for Sperl's arrest for assault.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the non-emergency police dispatch number at 311. (Choose option #1). Or people can remain anonymous by contacting Crime Stoppers at 561-STOP (7867) or online at www.anchoragecrimestoppers.com.
