Anchorage Police have charged a man in connection with a sexual assault last fall, and they say their investigation indicates there's a likelihood of additional victims.

William Jackson, 27, was charged second-degree sexual assault last Tuesday.

APD spokesperson MJ Thim says the investigation into Jackson began on October 20 after an adult female reported that she was at Jackson's home watching a movie when he sexually assaulted her.

Thim says the woman was able to escape and attempted to leave the house but he began assaulting her again.

When the victim was able to leave the residence, she called police.

Thim says the preliminary investigation "highly indicates the likelihood of additional victims".

Jackson was released on a $3000 bond.

Anyone with information related to the case is asked to call APD.
