The Greatland Packers won their second straight Alaska Football League trophy over the summer -- but next season's champion could get something more.

The winner has been invited to play the champions of the Southern Plains Football League this November in Minnesota. The game would be played at U.S. Bank Stadium, home of the Minnesota Vikings, and the site of Super Bowl 52.

"Being able to go down there and play another team, similar to our league in the Lower 48, it's just big, and it doesn't get any bigger than the Super Bowl stadium," said AFL Commissioner Bob Lee.

The trip would cost about $15,000. The league is now looking at ways to come up with the money.
