Bobby Hill loves the Bartlett High School football team. He's been the Golden Bears' manager for the last 20 years.

What you may not know about Hill is he is also one of Alaska's most decorated Special Olympics athletes. Two gold medals, as Hill finished third overall at the 2003 Wolrd Games in Ireland and four silver medals at the 2007 World Games in China.

Aliy Zirkle is the only woman to win the Yukon Quest International Sled Dog Race. It happened in 2000. Zirkle also finished second three times in the Iditarod, 2012-14.

Both athletes are among the nominations to the Alaska Sports of Hall of Fame. The head of the hall told us, you can cast your ballot now.

"I'm in the dark as much as anybody as to who will come out on top, every year there's a robust debate, there's a lot of good candidates," said Executive Director Harlow Robinson.

Voting ends November 30, the new class will be unveiled on December 7.
