Benefit Concert for the Alaskans Lost in the Vegas Shooting
Two Alaskans, Adrian Murfitt and Doreen Anderson, were killed in the Las Vegas mass shooting earlier this month. Monday night, there is a benefit concert to honor their memory and help support their families.
Bryan Hopkins and Ben Carey are members of the band Elvis Monroe, and they were also in the crowd of the concert that was fired upon in Vegas. They will be playing the benefit show titled: "Vegas & Alaska Strong Benefit Concert."
It takes place at the Oct. 16 at Williwaw from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. There is a $20 suggested donation at the door, and there will also be wristbands for sale. All proceeds will benefit the families of Adrian Murfitt and Doreen Anderson.
