APD arrests woman wanted for east side shooting
Anchorage Police have arrested a woman they say fired a shot at a male in east Anchorage last weekend.
Police say 25-year-old Kuuleilani “Lei Lei” Robb was in a gray or silver Dodge Ram when it parked in front of a white GMC Sierra located in the 4600 block of Reka Drive around 3 a.m. on Sunday, September 3. After Robb spoke to the people inside the other vehicle, she got back into her truck and pulled out a gun and shot at one of the adult males as they were getting out of the GMC Sierra, according to police.
The victim, who has not yet been identified, was shot in the upper body and was sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Warrants were issued for Robb's arrest on the charges of first-degree assault and third-degree misconduct involving weapons. Additionally, Robb had an outstanding felony warrant for a probation violation related to a vehicle theft, according to APD spokesperson MJ Thim.
A week after the shooting, APD stopped a stolen vehicle in the 1100 block of Contrary Court and found Robb was a passenger inside the vehicle. She was arrested on the existing warrants and also charged with first- and second-degree felony vehicle theft.
