This week, Alaska Airlines will begin serving four new routes on a daily basis in the Lower 48. 

Beginning Monday, nonstop service will be available from San Jose, California, to Austin, Texas, and Tucson, Arizona. 

"Alaska Airlines continues to meet the needs of Silicon Valley travelers with new daily, nonstop flights from our San Jose focus city to popular destinations like Austin and Tucson," said Annabel Chang, vice president, Alaska Airlines, Bay Area. "With the additional flights, Alaska and Virgin America will offer guests 131 daily nonstop flights to 42 destinations from the three major Bay Area airports by the end of the year."

The schedule of the new service is as follows:

San Jose > Austin - Departs 8:45 a.m. - Arrives 2:05 p.m. 
Austin > San Jose - Departs 3 p.m. - Arrives 4:53 p.m. 

San Jose > Tucson - Departs 5:33 p.m. - Arrives 7:45 p.m. 
Tucson > San Jose - Departs 7 a.m. - Arrives 9:27 a.m.

The new flights build on daily flights from San Jose to Newark, New Jersey and Burbank, California; and, Los Angeles, which begins four-times daily service on September 20.
