Los Angeles’ top Motley Crue cover band — Motley 2 — will play in Anchorage for one night only.

Darryl Strucke, the band’s bassist, says they started the band roughly six years ago. Strucke knew the rest of Motley 2 from a previous band and found the vocalist, Tony Noyes. They’ve been performing ever since.

The band takes the stage presence, energy and songs from Motley Crue. Tony Noyes, the band’s vocalist, said the band sticks mostly to the first two albums, but they do play some of the newer hits. Rounding out the sound is Seann Scott and drums and Nick Wells on guitar.

After a killer night Friday, the band decided to add a second show on Saturday. Doors open at 9 p.m., and the show starts at 10 p.m. Tickets will be $10 at the door.
