Police are investigating a Friday morning shooting that left one man with a gunshot wound to the neck.

Anchorage Police responded to the shooting in the parking lot of the Aurora Village Carrs in the 4 o’clock hour Friday morning.

One victim, identified as 31-year-old Brandon A. Smith, was located on scene suffering a gunshot wound to the neck. Police say he was taken to the hospital with critical injuries where he remained Monday afternoon.
