ANCHORAGE – It didn’t take long for the Florida-based, fusion musical group Black Violin to sell out its Friday show at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts.

The group combines classical violin with everything from hip-hop and rock to R&B and bluegrass, and has played for audiences everywhere from Washington, D.C. to the Billboard Awards. While Black Violin’s March 21 show is sold out, show organizers say last-minute tickets may still become available at the box office prior to the show.
