The Alaska Railroad is hosting its annual family-friendly Easter Train, complete with the Easter Bunny and a magician.

Two Easter Trains are set to embark from Anchorage’s downtown depot on March 26, one at 10 a.m. the other departing at 3 .p.m. Both trips will last about two and half hours, traveling south to Indian, then back to Anchorage.

“It’s one of our very popular specialty trains that we have running every year and it’s a great opportunity, especially as spring has sprung, to get folks out and see everything that’s going on with the increased daylight,” said Tim Sullivan, Alaska Railroad spokesman.
