The official start to the spring season is about one week away, but the time to save on summer travel is now, says Julie Saupe, president and CEO of Visit Anchorage.

 

Travel experts say planning ahead can help save people and their out-of-town visitors a lot of money. So much so, they might just splurge on a hotel, rather than staying in a guest bedroom.
